I studied civil engineering at Middle East Technical University and graduated in June 2020.
What do you do at Precis?
I’m working at Precis as an Digital Specialist at the Stockholm office. Currently, I’m working mostly with paid search campaigns!
What professional experiences do you have prior to Precis?
Before joining Precis, I was lucky to have internships at early-stage startups where I learnt about social media account’s management and paid social media.
What inspired you to join Precis?
When I first discovered Precis, I realised that it is a huge company that includes a variety of international backgrounds. Unlike any other international companies, Precis has a real culture and principles that people live by. It’s a company that is transparent and there is always room to learn and grow which are very important things for me.
Also, the people I’ve come across are the people who have been at Precis for a long time. This gives me an idea about what a healthy and happy working environment is. If I want to learn from the best, I believe I’m in the right place.
Going from studying engineering, what made you interested in digital marketing?
I made a big career change in September 2020, so I started with online courses and books. Then, I tried to have real-life experiences with two internships. With the effects of the pandemic, every business became more and more digital. I thought this could be a great start for me to begin my new career and find opportunities in this area.
I wanted to work in a combination of technology, data, and creativity. Digital marketing is a perfect mix for me.
What are you excited to learn more about?
I’m at the beginning of my career and everything is exciting for me to be honest. I’m in a learning stage where I can also test myself, gain experience, and grow. If I say everything, I think it wouldn’t be wrong!
