Be our new Senior Analytics Specialist (GCP)
Our Data & Cloud team in Oslo is growing and we are now looking for a Senior Analytics Specialist with a focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join us!
At Precis we are currently in an exciting phase where we are actively expanding on our ability to offer Google Cloud solutions to our clients. The aim is to help clients enhance their marketing and business capabilities, by leveraging cutting edge technology and machine learning. You will join a team of Analytic and Data specialists, and work together with our wider digital marketing teams to lead complex data projects from start to finish.
We believe you are intrigued by the possibilities within marketing technologies and Google Cloud, and are eager to lead projects from developing strategy to implementing the best solutions for different needs. You are used to working with multiple external and internal stakeholders and have a solid technical understanding of complex and data-heavy projects.
Your role will be to identify, present, and lead complex data projects. You will act as a project manager, and will use that role to identify initiatives that will increase digital maturity for clients. This includes advising on and mapping out cloud architecture, and how individual technologies can be integrated and utilized in a project. Overall, you will help our clients achieve best-in-class use of their data by driving their data strategy and delivering solutions with a high business impact.
You will get exposed to multiple challenges and opportunities when it comes to marketing strategy, data strategy, model building, and data activation. You will continue to build a broad and deep competence in data strategy, marketing evaluation (attribution), marketing platforms, and the possibilities with Google Cloud Platform. Tasks & responsibilities
Work closely with Analytics and Data Specialists to develop, implement and deliver highly technical solutions resulting in high business impact for our clients.
Own and lead the requirements gathering process, technical execution, and stakeholder management.
Scope out project timeline and required internal and external resources.
Connect data and insights to strategies in MarTech and Digital Marketing platforms.
Create, project manage and execute data project plans consisting of impactful analysis and data activation for our clients, including hands-on technical delivery where required.
Proactively review, identify, and suggest improvements to our clients’ data infrastructure and data strategy.
Wherever relevant, connect with and work closely with our digital marketing teams in implementing data strategy across platforms.
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
An ability to take project ownership from end-to-end, finding solutions with high business impact for data activation.
Understand the intersection of data and marketing, and how to manage data across systems such as advertising & product analytics platforms, CRM etc. .
Experience working with Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, Google Analytics, and/or similar platforms.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Strong understanding of marketing channel optimisation methods, audiences, and attribution.
Some experience with data science topics like predictive modelling, machine learning, data mining, statistics, and visualisation.
Knowledge of database languages (e.g., SQL)
(Preferred) Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python).
(Preferred) Experience automating ETL processes within Digital Marketing
(Preferred) GCP certification.
(Preferred) Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum.
