Background to thesis award

From the start, our vision has been to define the next generation digital marketing agency. In light of this, we have initiated a thesis competition with the purpose of highlighting innovative academic research within the area of digital marketing.

Information about the thesis award

Precis Digital ‘Best Marketing Thesis Award’ is an initiative to encourage students within all academic disciplines to contribute with new insights into the field of digital marketing.

The thesis award is aimed at master’s and bachelor’s students in Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway, or UK. Field of education is not crucial, but to be able to be eligible for the award the thesis needs to contribute new insights that can be applied to the field of digital marketing. The winning thesis will be chosen by an internal jury comprised of co-workers at Precis.

The assessment of the competing theses will be based on:

  • Relevance for the area of digital marketing
  • Innovativeness
  • Methodology

Participate in the thesis award

In order to participate in the thesis award, submit your thesis to thesisaward@precisdigital.com no later than June 30th, 2020. The thesis should be written during the fall semester of 2019 or spring semester of 2020. Note that the thesis should be written in English.

The winner will be awarded with 2000 EUR and invited to a local Precis office to present the thesis to co-workers at Precis.

The winning thesis will be chosen by an internal jury comprised of co-workers at Precis and will be announced on September 1st, 2020. Once the jury have made their decision, the results of the thesis competition shall be revealed on the Precis website.

The thesis should be written (in English) during the autumn term 2019 or spring term 2020. Submit your thesis to thesisaward@precisdigital.com no later than June 30th, 2020.

How to participate

The thesis should be written (in English) during the autumn term 2019 or spring term 2020. Submit your thesis to thesisaward@precisdigital.com no later than June 30th, 2020.

The winning thesis will be chosen by an internal jury comprised of co-workers at Precis and the winner will be announced on September 1st, 2020.

 

The winner will receive a diploma, have the opportunity to present their work at one of the Precis offices and will receive a cash prize in the lump sum of 2000 EUR. If the winning thesis has been written in a group, the sum will be divided equally between the authors. Applicable income tax on the cash prize sum shall be paid by the winners in accordance with applicable law. Precis may use the winning thesis and the winner(s) information for marketing purposes (for example in a blog post).

Precis reserves the right to determine whether the thesis fulfils the requirements for entry. Precis reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions of the Best Marketing Thesis Award at any time. Precis may at its sole discretion cancel the competition without prior notice or obligation. When participating in the thesis award, Precis will process information about you for the purposes described above including to administer the competition, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
