What did you do before joining Precis?
I worked in paid media at Microsoft and a few tech startups in the San Francisco Bay Area for a few years. Before that, however, I did a master’s in Scandinavian linguistics and literature! I have also been working as a freelance literary translator for the last six years or so, which is a great hobby in my free time.
What’s the best thing about your role?
I’m a Facebook nerd, so I love being at the forefront of all the new tech and best practices – and of course sharing my knowledge with my colleagues.
What are Precis key strengths and key challenges as a workplace?
The strengths are without a doubt the people. I have never worked somewhere with not only so much competence and passion but also with such fun, friendly and unbelievably inspiring coworkers. As for challenges – agency life will always be incredibly fast-paced, which can be both a good and bad thing! You really need to learn how to manage your time and prioritize.
