It’s hard to believe it, but it’s been nearly three years since we opened the doors to Precis Digital. I think it’s about time to share a few words about the journey we’ve been on for the last couple of years. And with this announcement, that we are releasing our new website.
It’s hard to believe it, but it’s been nearly three years since we opened the doors to Precis Digital. I think it’s about time to share a few words about the journey we’ve been on for the last couple of years. And with this announcement, that we are releasing our new website.
Back then, it was only me, Jakob and Robin, borrowing a desk each from our friends at Wunderkraut. Big up to Matts Hildén for that! We came straight from Google, accustomed to a life of free food and an abundance of resources. Suddenly, we had to deal with responsibility over our own livelihood. This is Robin unpacking his computer at his first desk. Doesn’t he look happy?
It didn’t take long until we grew up and got ourselves our own room, and before we knew it, we were eight people in that tiny office space. Cozy as it was we had to move on and start looking for a new home. We moved into a 100 square metres office in Gamla stan. At that time we couldn’t really afford to move but I remember Jakob urging us to “just do it” when debating it in a management meeting. So we did, and it went well – thanks, Jakob!
In Gamla stan we grew to 12 people, and we started traditions that have been maintained ever since. For example, we started what we call “Precis Academy”, a monthly event in which we invite an external speaker to present an interesting topic. Sometimes it is related to our work, but it can also be something completely new, something we just find interesting. The purpose of Precis Academy is to broaden our horizons (even we need a break from conversion rates, CPCs and CTRs every now and then). The first time around we had the pleasure of stealing time from Olof Carlson (Spotify). Thanks again, Olof! Since then, we’ve had many Precis Academies with guest speakers ranging from militaries to linguists. Let me know if you want to come by to listen or present.
Time flies! After a couple of months in Gamla stan we started our danish office, led by Partner, Country Manager and Swordsman, Christopher Brixen. Having Denmark on board has been great, with our danish colleagues working miracles on a daily basis.
Since we started in 2012, we’ve been fortunate to work with over 150 clients across our offices in Sweden and Denmark. We’ve been given the opportunity to work on projects ranging from advanced Google AdWords projects to cutting edge online analysis, and this is something we are really delighted about. Thanks a ton!
We announced some big news the other day. Precis Digital just opened our Oslo office. It is really a milestone for us and we are extremely happy that we have Mr Håvard Jakob Nyberg assigned to the job. We are convinced that Håvard and his future team will create some magic in Norway.
