2015 is set to be another year full of milestones for Precis Digital. One of the big ones will be to open our third office, in a third country, in an equal number of years. Oslo and Norway will be a huge focus for Precis Digital this year, as we now open our new offices in Maridalsveien 89.
Precis Digital has built its success over the last couple of years on helping Swedish and Danish companies succeed online. We have done this by keeping an uncompromising focus on integrity, data-driven decision-making, operational excellence, as well as having fun. We’re a young and dynamic organization filled with people who love digital marketing and communication. Our journey started in Stockholm, with three former Google employees founding an agency aimed at helping Scandinavian companies succeed online. A year ago, another former Google employee started our Danish office. We are now 30+ employees across Scandinavia, and today we are officially establishing our office in Oslo. With this move we are realizing one of our goals of becoming a truly Scandinavian company. All of us at Precis are really excited about this, myself especially.
I am responsible for managing and scaling our Norwegian operations. My interest in digital marketing started back in university, when I was completing a master in marketing at ESCP Paris. An elective course elusively named “e-commerce” set me on a new digital path. Since completing my studies, my interest has turned into a passion for digital marketing. Its taken me to companies such as Google and LinkedIn, where I have worked on helping Norwegian, Nordic, and UK companies adopt new digital marketing tools and processes.
When Christoffer Lötebo, our Swedish CEO, and the other Swedish and danish partners asked me to join the company with the task of building up an Oslo-office, I said yes right away. Precis Digital is not a conventional marketing agency, nor do we aspire to be. Our focus on data-driven decision making is not just a marketing punch-line, we are building a team of world class analysts, statisticians, mathematicians, and even quantum physicists. People on our team have many different backgrounds, but we all love digital marketing. This approach is what sets us apart, and is why we should be an attractive business partner for anyone looking to succeed in the digital world. This is also why I am incredibly excited to be able to bring this same approach to digital marketing to Norway.
Our shared ambition in Norway, and across Scandinavia, is to make our customers, business partners, and employees become digital superstars. We are going to be the best at delivering, measuring, and understanding digital marketing and communication. We will over the next days, months, and years be giving it all in building an organization capable of taking on the biggest digital challenges out there. For our clients, examples of projects we can take on include managing advertising through Google AdWords, analyzing the digital marketing channels of our clients and help them reinvest it as efficient as possible, implementing advanced tracking of a website, or testing a website to optimize design for conversion rate. For our business partners, we will be looking to partner in creating customer success. As an example, if you are a communication agency, we can help you prove the value of your efforts in kroner and clicks. For our employees, we will bring you to the forefront of where digital marketing is developing, and we promise you that we will have a lot of fun getting there.
In Oslo, we are sharing an office with Skyskraper, which is Norway’s largest freestanding cluster for production of advertising, information, and entertainment. This brings us close to content creators of all types. Should you want to create content such as video, display ads, or even podcasts, our partners in the same building can help you do just that.
As might be clear by now, 2015 is set to become an incredibly exciting year. I cannot begin to say how much I look forward to working with all of you in bringing the Norwegian digital economy to the next level.
